#TIMELY APP REDDIT UPDATE#
Popular third-party client Apollo is one of the casualties, and just released its swan song update asking users to decline a refund on. All of them will depend on subscriptions to cover the API costs. Instead, they're pointing to their official feedback site at or asking users to contact them on one of their other social media channels. The public deadline for the Reddit API changes is July 1. 32 minutes ago &0183 &32 MultiTab, Infinity, and Relay are the few other third-party Reddit apps that will live beyond June 30.
They then say, "Because of these changes, we no longer feel that Reddit is an appropriate place to post official content or refer our players to." Effectively, they are saying that, in its current state, Reddit is not worth using for Minecraft's official posts anymore. In their post, they specifically pointed to how Reddit's management has made changes that have affected moderation across several subreddits.
